Corso Italia — the "Italian Walk" — is the residential and commercial neighbourhood centred on St. Clair Avenue West between Dufferin and Lansdowne. It's the historic heart of Toronto's Italian-Canadian community: the bakeries, espresso bars, espresso-after-soccer-on-Sunday culture, and the famous CHIN Picnic. The St. Clair right-of-way streetcar (504/506) gives the neighbourhood reliable transit into downtown.

Filipe and Isabel maintain their primary office at 1192 St Clair Avenue West, in the heart of Corso Italia — that's our home base, and we know the streets here as well as anyone. We've been involved in Corso Italia transactions for 20+ years, including multi-generational family sales and the wave of younger families moving north from Dufferin Grove for slightly larger lots.

Housing is mostly Edwardian and inter-war detached and semis on 22–28 ft lots — often larger than the lots immediately south on Bloor or College. The post-war period saw significant Italian-Canadian renovation activity (terrazzo, marble entries, professional finished basements) that still defines the housing character. New buyers tend to either embrace and restore those finishes or strip them — we'll advise on which strategy resells better on a given block.
